at the office of Ministry of State-owned Enterprises on Friday, January 14,

JAKARTA GOVERNMENT CHECK INDUSTRY GROUND WATER WELL

JAKARTA - Jakarta Provincial Government set a target of checking 80
industries in North Jakarta that have ground water wells with the checking being
conducted in the first 20 days in 2011. Head of Division of Law Enforcement

Environmental Management Agency (BPLHD), Ridwan
Pandjaitan, said that during initial checking on Thursday on January
13, a ground water well was sealed by BPLHD. "The
well was sealed as it no longer functioned" Ridwan said
on Friday, January 14.

Eko Marwoto, Manager of Auto Repair SBU, said that the innovation to produce Chasis 40" was made in order
to increase PT. KBN's income, particularly Auto Repair SBU's income. Auto Repair SBU still has
a big market opportunity that it can manage.
2014, STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISES REDUCED TO 78

JAKARTA - Ministry of
State-Owned Enterprises has set a target of reducing the number of state-owned
enterprises from the current 142 state-owned enterprises to 78 by 2014. This program, known as the rightsizing
program and done by establishing a holding, will be prioritized to state-owned
enterprises in farming, forestry and construction service sector next year.
"Indonesia is expected to have 142
state-owned enterprises by 2014 but we hope the number will be reduced to only
78 state-owned enterprises. For that, we will make a 2011-2014 master plan to
complete the plan." Deputy of Re-structurization and Strategic
Planning of State-Owned Enterprises, Achiran Pandu Djajanto said, in his

JAKARTA PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT DIVESTS 3 BUMDs

Companies (BUMD) Division of Jakarta Provincial
Government, Eben Siregar, said the
decision (to divest a number of Jakarta BUMDs)
was made during the general meeting of stakeholders (RUPS) held last Friday. The meeting, he said, was scheduled to
discuss the divestment scheme to 6 regional BUMDs but eventually only
three BUMDs successfully attracted investors, while three other BUMD were still
in the process of seeking investors.
PT. KBN CONTINUES SUCCESS IN IMPLEMENTING GCG

in implementing good corporate governance (GCG) principles, evidenced by the
fact that towards the end of 2010, it won an award for the category of "Credible
Corporate" in the application of good corporate governance. The award was given
by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG), in collaboration
with SWA magazine and was given on Thursday, December 9, 2010

OPENING MEETING OF SELF ASSESSMENT GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

of the application of Good Corporate Government (GCG) at PT. KBN, in 2010, a
program called Self Assessment
of GCG has been
conducted since November
18, 2010 and is to be completed on December 16, 2010.
The whole event adopts the theme: "GCG SEBAGAI POLA PIKIR DAN POLA TINDAK BAGI INSAN KARYAWAN PT. KBN (PERSERO)" (GCG as the way of thinking and way of conduct for
all elements at PT. KBN). The assessment is divided into three stages, namely:

KBN AND WIKA TO MANAGE ELECTRICITY MARKET POTENTIAL

In order to make a
synergy among related parties within Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, a
memorandum of understanding was signed between PT. Kawasan Berikat Nusantara
Persero (KBN) and PT. Wiajaya Karya (Persero) Tbk for
the development of gas-fired
power plant (PLTG), and the use of electricity market
potentials in industrial zones. "This
synergy is expected to give benefits to both parties,"

The increasing number of residential areas in North Jakarta has called for the need to have more sanitary facilities. As a state-owned enterprise which has the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, PT KBN did its social duty by building 5 toilets in some villages in Jakarta, such as the ones in Semper Timur sub-district and Cilincing sub-district, North Jakarta.
